I am thrilled to be taking part in the 45th Great North Run on Sunday 13 September to raise funds for the Great Start in Life Foundation, which is part of HHCC. This will be my first major event since having children, and completing a challenge of this scale will feel like a huge achievement. All funds raised will support children, young people and their families across the North and Yorkshire.
As the footprint of Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust has expanded across the region, the Great Start in Life Foundation now raises funds to enhance the Health Visitor and School Nursing 0–19 service. This support helps ensure that children, young people and their families have the best possible start in life.
By supporting my fundraising, you will help HHCC make a difference in communities across County Durham, Cumberland, Darlington, Gateshead, Middlesbrough, Northumberland, North Yorkshire, South Tyneside, Stockton‑on‑Tees, Sunderland, Wakefield and Westmorland‑and‑Furness.
