Donations help support healthcare services for a population of around 720,000 people in the hospital’s acute catchment area and 2.5 million across community services.
Thanks to this generosity:
New medical equipment has been purchased to support better diagnosis and treatment; such as a new fluid warming cabinet, now in place for hysteroscopy procedures, making the experience easier and more pleasant for patients.
Refurbishments like the enhanced Intensive Care Unit have created more comfortable, healing spaces for patients and families, introducing Visualite tiles to enable a tranquil and calming experience for patients who were receiving care.
Local fundraisers; from community organisations to individual supporters, contribute thousands in vital funding every year. For example, local Harrogate group VinylSessions recent fundraising events have raised over £7,000 to enhancements to our Special Care Baby Unit parents facilities.
