How long have you been part of the team at HHCC?
I joined the HHCC team in 2019, and from the moment I arrived, I knew I had found a place where kindness, community, and purpose come together.
What is your role at the charity?
As Head of Charity, my role is to lead our vision, strengthen our partnerships, and create the opportunities where generosity can flourish. I work closely with donors, community groups and clinical teams to ensure that every act of support is translated into something truly impactful. This can be through enhancing patient experience, supporting staff wellbeing, or funding innovative projects that enhance care across our Trust.
What inspires you to do what you do?
Being part of HHCC has allowed me to work alongside incredibly dedicated colleagues and supporters who share the same passion for supporting patients, families, and staff across our hospital and community services. Together, we create opportunities for people to give, to connect, and to make a meaningful difference in the moments that matter most.
What does “making a difference” look like to you?
For me, making a difference means creating real improvements you can feel; smiles where there may be worries, comfort where there may be uncertainty, and hope where things feel overwhelming. It’s about building something better, together.
What’s one word your colleagues would use to describe you?
Dedicated – every day, I’m committed to ensuring that our charity continues to touch lives in ways that truly matter.
