How long have you been part of the team at HHCC?
I joined Team HHCC in 2025 and quickly felt at home within such a passionate and supportive team.
What is your role at the charity?
I play a key part in bringing the charity’s projects and fundraising initiatives to life, supporting the team from the early stages of an idea through to delivery. I coordinate information, keep things on track, assist with events, and build relationships with supporters, local businesses, volunteers, and colleagues across the organisation. I enjoy being part of the process that turns plans into real, positive outcomes for patients, families, and staff, making sure the charity’s work achieves the impact it’s meant to.
What inspires you to do what you do?
I’m inspired by knowing that the work we do has a real and lasting impact. Being part of initiatives that improve environments, enhance patient comfort and support staff wellbeing gives genuine purpose to my role. It’s incredibly rewarding to see projects move from planning stages to something that positively affects people every day.
What does “making a difference” look like to you?
To me, making a difference means seeing a project move from an initial conversation to something tangible that people can truly feel. Whether it’s helping create calmer spaces, supporting the introduction of new resources, or contributing to initiatives that make challenging experiences a little easier, I value being part of the journey that turns ideas into meaningful change.
